Some of the writing in Goof Troop was so subtly brilliant which, upon revisiting, caught me kind of off guard since most of the humour was largely slapstick, and there’s nothing really wrong with that, I mean, it’s classic saturday morning stuff
So there’s this one part in the pilot where Goofy calls Pete to let him know he’s moving back to Spoonerville and when Pete picks up the phone all he hears is a “hyuck” and he promptly hangs up the phone, backs away from it, glares, and quietly says “no”
